Harvest Moon is a video game, and the first installment of the Harvest Moon series.
The game was released in Japan on August 9, 1996 by Pack-In Video. It was then later released in North America in June 1997 by Natsume for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was released in many European countries on 29 January 1998. This series has become a very popular game series.
